About me

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor who is BACP registered. BACP registration means i have an ethical approach and maintain my practice with regular updates to keep up with the newest developments.

I have regular supervision and personal therapy as part of my ethical approach.

For me, the most basic part of effective therapy is a 'good' relationship with your therapist. Confidentiality and non-judgement are at the core of the relationship.
Therapy can be frightening and challenging at times but with the support of the right therapist can be literally 'life changing'. I believe we all have somewhere within us the ability to change our lives for the better.

I have experience in dealing with:-

severe trauma
bereavement and loss
recovery from abuse
anger issues
low self-esteem
relationship issues

amongst other issues.

i currently volunteer as a counsellor with One in Four - a charity for Adults who were Sexually Abused in childhood

I have been trained in Bereavement and Loss by Cruse a charity for bereaved people and still volunteer with them.

I was a counsellor for Care for the Carers a charity for carers of all ages in East Sussex.
